What does it mean?
It means “Good News” … and this good news is for you!
God made you and He loves you!
He created you to know him personally. You are not an accident, your life has meaning!
He has a plan and a purpose for your life which you can discover by getting to know Him. He loves you!
We have all sinned!
Some people don’t care, others try hard but still mess up. Sin results in death and separation from God. That’s not good now, and worse in eternity.
There is a solution in Jesus!
God still loves you!
He loves you despite your sin! But that doesn’t mean it’s ok to carry on…
He wants to forgive you, but what about justice? That’s why He made a plan like no other … He would come to the rescue Himself!
Did you know that all this was foretold by the prophets in the Old Testament of the Bible many years before, and it has proven true?
Jesus died for your sin!
Jesus is the Son of God: God putting on human flesh.
He lived the perfect life that you couldn’t live.
Then He took your sin on Himself, suffered and died on the cross.
Everything bad you deserve was paid for by Him so that you can receive all the good He deserves.
He was buried, but after 3 days…
Jesus is alive!
The tomb is empty! Jesus now lives forever, having overcome sin and death!
Jesus is offering you forgiveness, a right relationship with God and eternal life as a free gift!
It is free to you because He paid everything!
You have a choice!
Choose Life!
Jesus offers you forgiveness and eternal life, but He has given you the freedom to choose.
If you choose to receive Him you will be forgiven and your life will change forever. The very presence of God, the Holy Spirit, will live inside of you and begin to change your life from the inside out. Life is so much better when you know God’s love and actually enjoy doing what is right!
The choice is yours, so choose wisely!
Only you can choose…
God has given you the freedom to choose whether or not to receive His gift of life.
If you choose to reject Him, you are rejecting His forgiveness and will simply remain unforgiven. That leaves you in the position of paying in full for every single one of your sins.
Is that really what you want?
“Now choose life, so that you and your children may live”
Deuteronomy 30:19, The Bible
Yes! I want Jesus in my life!
If you receive this gift of forgiveness and eternal life, your life will never be the same again!
Some things will change instantly. Others will take time. Some days will be easy, others may not be. But every day you will live your life WITH God, experiencing His goodness and love.
Your sins will be forgiven, you can live in God’s purpose and you’ll have eternal life to look forward to.
How can I receive Jesus?
- Admit to God that you have sinned. Choose to turn away from sin ask Him to forgive you
- Believe that Jesus died for all your sins and rose from the dead and choose to trust Him fully.
- Confess that Jesus is Lord of your life and that you will follow Him
YOU CAN TALK TO GOD WITH WORDS LIKE THESE:
Heavenly Father, I thank you that you gave your Son Jesus to die in my place for my sins.
I believe you raised Jesus from the dead, and I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
I turn away from my sins to follow you. Please forgive my sins and be Lord of my life. I choose to follow You for the rest of my life. Please help me to get to know You.
Thank You for saving me!
God has so much more for you!
We would like to encourage you to grow in your relationship with the Lord. You will enjoy discovering God’s purpose for your life!
PRAY!
Talk to God from your heart. Be honest! He loves to hear your voice…
You will learn to recognise His voice too.

The Bible is the word of God. This is where you discover more of who He is and all that He has for you in life…
Most people find it best to start reading in the New Testament (second half).
GET BAPTISED!
The old has gone, now you have new life in Jesus! Demonstrate it with baptism…
Jesus commanded baptism because He has a whole new life for you!
FRIENDS!
You are not alone! Now you have joined God’s family!
A Bible-believing church will be a great help in your journey with God.
